Contract Sweeping — commercial sweeping and scrubbing, South East Queensland
High-pressure cleaning of a commercial loading dock

High-pressure cleaning services

For the jobs a ride-on cannot do: loading docks, bin bays, ramps, walkways and hardstand where the stain has soaked in rather than settled on top.

In short

Pressure cleaning covers the areas a ride-on machine cannot reach: loading docks, bin bays, ramps, walkways, plinths and stained hardstand. We book it alongside a sweep or scrub, or on its own, across Brisbane, Logan, Redlands, the Gold Coast and Ipswich.

How it works

The last ten per cent of a site is the worst of it.

A sweeper and a scrubber will handle the open floor. What they cannot do is get into a bin bay, up a kerb, under a dock leveller or into the corner where the bins have been sitting for three years. That is pressure-cleaning work.

These are also the areas that decide what a visitor thinks of the site. Bin rooms, entry aprons and dock faces carry organic staining and grease that sit below the surface, and only water at pressure — with the right nozzle and, where needed, a pre-treatment — will shift them.

We book pressure cleaning alongside a sweeping or scrubbing visit so the debris is off the ground first and the wash water is not simply moving grit somewhere else.

Where pressure cleaning is the right tool

Pressure cleaning a loading dock face

Loading docks and bin bays

Grease, organic staining and spillage around dock levellers, bin pads and waste compactors — the areas most likely to draw a complaint or an audit note.

Pressure cleaning car park ramps and walkways

Ramps, walkways and entries

Pedestrian surfaces where build-up becomes a slip risk, and the first twenty metres of a site that everyone forms an opinion about.

Pressure cleaning stained industrial hardstand

Stained hardstand and plinths

Oil drip, rubber and ground-in dirt on external concrete, plus wash-down of plant, bunds and equipment surrounds where access allows.

Pressure-cleaning questions we get asked

Do you need a water source on site?

A tap is ideal and keeps the cost down. If the area has no supply we can bring water, but tell us at the quoting stage — it changes both the pricing and how much we can do in a visit.

What about the run-off?

It depends on the surface and what is on it. For most external hardstand the run-off goes to the site’s existing drainage; where there is oil, grease or food waste involved we will talk through containment before the job rather than after.

Is pressure cleaning better than scrubbing?

They are different tools. Scrubbing is for large flat sealed floors and leaves them dry; pressure cleaning is for smaller, dirtier, more awkward areas where you need force rather than coverage. Most sites need a bit of both.
